Services
at St Dunstan's Church
and
Owlswick Chapel
8.00am (first Sunday of each month only) Holy Communion (Using the Book of Common Prayer)
10.00am Parish Eucharist
"Eucharist" (which means 'Thanksgiving') is one of the many titles of the Holy Communion Service. We have so much to be thankful for and it is appropriate that the Parish Eucharist is a celebration with music to which all ages are welcome; it is a gathering of the growing Christian Community obeying Jesus' command "do this in remembrance of me". The family Eucharist on the first Sunday in the month, hopes to attract all ages and is slightly less formal.
10.00am The Ten O'clock Club and Creche
For children aged 4-11 (with creche for younger children) in the Church Hall on Sundays during term-time (except the first Sunday in the month when children attend the whole service). The children join their parents in the Church for the Holy Communion towards the end of the service.
6.00pm Choral Evensong (Normally using the Book of Common Prayer).
On the fourth Sunday only Evensong is held at Owlswick Chapel (3.00pm from October to March).
